Modernity meets Antiquity in Garmisch, Germany

We experienced what its like to wake up in the middle of the night as water from a natural water dam broke above us during heavy spring rains on this trip. The clear, blue sky in this picture doesn't represent the unease we all felt during the 14,000 CFS, high water trip.

Strudel the Asthmatic Cat


Wolvita would like to introduce you to Strudel the Asthmatic cat. Strudel is, quite possibly, the most expensive alley cat on the planet. To date, he has ripped up three shades in the house, racked up $3000 in vet bills, and scratched up the leather couch. He remains, however, one of the coolest cats in the northern hemisphere.
